POLEMUSA AND ENEAS

Two characters from the Troyan war: Polemusa, one of the amazons that arrived Troy to defend the city with their Queen Penthesilea.

Eneas, one of the survivors of the city and leader of the group who arrived to Italy.

Polemusa is a Caesar figure from the RPCharacters set (magician?) with borrwed legs from a zulu warrior.

Eneas is a gladiator witha head swap from zvezda Alexander.

Behind an officer from the iberians shelf.

Some more bronze age warriors from the south west of Spain.

The Stellas depict chariots and warrior with long horned helmets.
There are no trace of armour, so leather bands are reasonable for heavy infantry

swords and spears are clearly depicted, but axes were rather common as well.

Note the shield design almost identical in many Stellas:

Figures are conversions from Atlantic "Troyan" and Italeri romans.

Wilusa (Troya)

Prince Paris and a heavy bowman at Wilusa's entrance

Paris is a Caesar elf with a longer skirt. Bowman is a Hat roman auxiliary with a Caesar head.

Warriors of Wilusa

A better view of the entrance. Notice the temple behind with the  sun.
The entrance is the Arco de Bará momument souvenir from Tarragona.

These warriors are Newline dacians with a new longskirt

Bowmen near the river.

Again the Caesar elfs are a good source for convesions. Notice the leather greaves.
Skirt had to be increased a little.

The Lord of Sipan

Not a bronze age warrior, but it is also a historical period i do love. Mexoamericans and southamericans before the spanish conquest.

Probably not many have heard about this peruvian pre incan known as the "Señor de Sipan" a governor that ruled circa III century a.c. and possibly linked to the Mochican culture.

His grave was discovered in 1987 with all its treasure and clothes. http://agutie.homestead.com/files/Sipan.htm

http://www.unique-southamerica-travel-experience.com/lordofsipan.html

This is my personal interpretation in 1/72

This figure comes from Caesar Elfs (!) and has just a little conversion : ear rings, mace, and helmet from a spare metal persian shield.

His warrior companions also inspired from the remains of the tomb are also Caesar Elfs with some conversion.

I would like to build up a small army with pre peruvian and mochica warriors.
A perfect descendant of the Atlantis world.

These bowmen are also Caesar Elfs...
To be honest. After i bought the box i did not know what to do with them...

Although weapons are not well known, maces and axes have been found in the tombs.
Some of these have been borrowed from egyptian cousins from the spare box.

Myceanean

Some more units added to the myceanean for the Troy war.

This eight shaped shields are the heavy infantry in combined formation with some bowmen behind. Miniatures are from Newline Design

These slingers are really a multipurpose unit capable to represent almost any ancient light unit within a period of two thousand years.

Another light infantry unit with javelins and spears.

Tartessos

Among the different warriors depicted in the South and South East "estelas" there are quite a few depicting horned helmet warriors and a feminine crested companion:

It is difficult to imagine how the warrior and the lady would look, but this could be a guess:

A noble couple belonging to the King Argantonio Court .
